Not an overly exciting outfit, but I genuinely am a bit in love with this dress. It was actually a bit of an accidental purchase. I had taken a trip into town with Mama C to scour the left over sales items in the hopes of finding a bargain or two. Here's a quick confession; I cannot stand sale shopping as I enjoy my personal space and just can't be doing with all the elbows in the ribs, and I once got bitten by a girl in Topshop as I reached for the same top as her. Seriously. But I digress. So while out shopping Mama C and I popped into Hobbs hoping to pick up some of the brightly coloured t-shirts she loves for a bargain price. Long story short as I can see a few of you beginning to nod off, Mama C loved this dress while I didn't, but I moodily agreed to purchase it to try on at home with the plan of returning it the next day to stop an agrument breaking out in the middle of the shop. But when I did try it on at home I instantly feel slightly in love with it. Moral of the story; listen to my mother more*.
*As soon as Mama C reads this I'm going to get a text message saying something along the lines of 'I told you so'.
Dress - Hobbs. Cardigan - H&M. Emergency Boots - Dune.
Belt - Topshop. Necklace - Nana's.
It originally came with a fabric belt, but I really cannot stand those, so it was quickly replaced by my trusty tan belt.
The vibrancy of the print isn't really picked up in the first photo so I snapped a close up which is a much truer representation of the colours.
Did any of dislike sales shopping, or are you all skilled ninjas at it? Did you get any bargains?
