A few weekends ago* the lovely Caroline and I enjoyed a rather...strange night out. Oxford's Ashmolean museum held another one of their live Friday events, and this time it was 'Wilderness in the City'. I'd never been to any of them before, and to be quite frank I'd never heard of them before either. The night was definitely an experience.*I apologise to Caroline for being so slow for writing about this

The Opera singer
I didn't really enjoy the poet, if I'm being honest, but the Opera singer was very good. However, my favourite bit had to be the room of Shamanism. I studied Social Anthropology at University so I had read about Shamanism quite a bit, so if I'm completely honest I didn't read the displays, instead Caroline and I got rather excited about the dress up. We really are massive children.
There were Shamanistic gowns. I'm not sure 'gown' is the word, but I cannot think of the proper term.
There were straw wigs. Doesn't Caroline look great!
And there were furs; which neither Caroline or I enjoyed wearing.
And for reasons which I cannot fathom there was a reindeer mask...
